Therapy with Komal

Welcome! I believe therapy is most effective when it is a partnership. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, understand your goals, and work to improve your well-being. My approach is eclectic, drawing from various therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs and preferences, helping you feel empowered and supported at every step.

As a first-generation immigrant raised in Michigan with Pakistani, Muslim, and American values, I deeply value the role that your personal worldview and cultural background play in therapy. Being seen and understood within the context of your own life experiences and values is crucial to creating meaningful and lasting change.

My goal is to help you address the challenges you're facing while honoring the richness of your cultural identity. Let's work together to improve your health!

Therapy with Saniyah

Hi there! I'm really glad you’re here. Life can get messy, overwhelming, and sometimes just downright hard. Reaching out for support takes a lot of courage, and it’s a big deal that you’re taking this step. If you’re looking for a space where you can feel seen, supported, and like you don’t have to figure it all out alone, I’d love to connect. Let’s take it one step at a time, together.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. I’ll take the time to get to know you and what matters most to you, and we’ll work together to find what fits, whether that’s digging into patterns, building coping tools, or simply having a space to breathe and reflect.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in building a genuine connection. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and accepted just as you are. I show up as my full self: honest, compassionate, and curious. I encourage you to do the same at your own pace.
